Celeste LaReau founded Tennessee Christian Chamber of Commerce in 2007 to fill a gap she perceived in the marketplace.
Celeste desired to provide a forum where Christian business leaders could be supported and encouraged to face issues from a Christian perspective, find opportunities to plug into professional development entwined with spiritual growth, and be challenged by colleagues to experience the coming of God’s Kingdom beyond Sunday worship.
She also wanted to help break down the perceived wall between commercial pursuit and service to God having been introduced to the Lord by way of an insurance salesman who caught her attention through an advertisement in a Christian Phonebook. Celeste believes ultimately this is the work of Tennessee Christian Chamber of Commerce.
