The initial concept of a new Christian Chamber for Middle Tennessee began in January 2007 from the Founder and President, Celeste LaReau. Celeste changed course with a desire to develop a more sustainable program for Christian professionals after working on a business plan to produce a Christian business expo in partnership with the College of Business at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. There was suggestion from counsel to do more than produce a one time event. After internet and market research, there was considerable evidence to suggest minimal collaboration and no formal organization or association to address the needs for the Christian business community in Tennessee.
As of January 2008, Tennessee Christian Chamber began laying its current foundation and established the organization as a 501c6. The first public event was held May 28th gave legitimacy, visibility and traction to the TNCCC concept.
